Edison Power Constructors Awarded for Safety Excellence

Taking Safe Practices to New Heights

Throughout the history of PLH Group, clear and distinct expectations around safety have carried their many business entities to excellent safety records. At the end of January 2020 during PLH Group’s Management Meeting, Safety Awards were presented, a keynote event to honor their entities who received safety recognition across multiple categories and areas of expertise.

Congratulations went out to Edison Power Constructors who received honorable mention as Most Improved overall. Edison Power Constructors—a subsidiary based in Arizona and an IBEW contractor—takes pride in construction, maintenance and repair of nationwide electric utility transmission and distribution infrastructure.

However, their idea of success goes beyond the work they do and into HOW they do it— safely. “Safety is one of our core values and mission of our company. The OSHA strategic partnership ensures that we remain proactive in our safety efforts,” said Russell Smith, President of Edison Power Constructors.

Edison Power Constructors has partnered with some of the most recognized and respected names in the industry from which their employees receive training and continuing education. By following the rigorous standards and culture of safety that PLH Group has laid out, Edison Power will continue to reach higher, embrace ‘best practices’ and turn it into measurable results; something they plan on doing for decades to come.

Edison Power Constructors is a full service utility contractor of high voltage electric transmission and distribution construction, maintenance, and repair, as well as around-the-clock emergency response, in varying terrains and conditions throughout the United States.
