PLH Group Highlights Towering Performance of Complete Line Construction Solutions
In the March/April 2018 issue of Electric Perspectives, PLH Group highlighted its towering performance of complete line construction solutions.
Seven PLH Group business units — Power Line Services, Inc.; Edison Power Constructors, Inc.; Auger Services, Inc.; Air2, LLC; TTR Substations, Inc.; R.B. Hinkle Construction, Inc.; and Southeast Directional Drilling, LLC — collaboratively provide services related to the construction and maintenance of underground utility, electrical substations and transmission and distribution systems up to and including 500kV.
The over 1,500 highly trained utility construction experts in these companies have provided specialized construction solutions for major utilities, regional cooperatives, municipalities, and renewable energy developers. This work included collectively pulling over 1,000 miles of pulled cable for transmission and distribution projects, owning over 2,000 pieces of specialty utility construction equipment, and installing 20,000 transmission and distribution poles. Additional services include transmission and distribution line maintenance, storm response, substation construction, and underground and overhead installation and maintenance.
